After a terrific third season of snooker at Arena Billiards in Loughborough, with excellent snooker, brilliant sportsmanship, and bags of fun, it's almost time to get the next season underway.
When is it?
Starting in October (check the notice board at Arena for more information, as this is updated regularly), this season takes the same format as the previous one, starting promptly at 7pm every Wednesday.
How much is it?
The price is still to be determined (based on the number of entrants to cover table fees), but will be around £60 which gives you around 6 weeks of snooker, plus excellent prize money at the end after the end-of-season playoffs. At least half must be paid before the league begins to ensure table costs are covered, and so there's a firm idea on numbers.
A bit about the league
This time around we're hoping to get more entrants than ever, with a dozen last season, so get your name down and see how you do! The league will be split into at least two divisions according to ability, so everyone has a fair chance of winning, and all entrants are guaranteed a place in the playoffs at the end of the season.
A special shout out for any and all ladies who would like to give the game a try - the league is laid back and fun, but with good quality snooker across both divisions, so you can have fun whilst improving your game.
